PPP says India is blaming Pakistan without any investigation or evidence

24 April, 2025 13:56

The Pakistan Peoples Party strongly condemned the Pahalgam incident and Indian reaction, says party’s spokesperson Shazia Marri.

India should come out of Pakistan phobia and learn to respect global foreign policy, she added.

She said that instead of blaming the neighbouring country for the killing of unarmed people, the matter should have been investigated. Pakistan is a responsible and strong country, knows how to respond to Indian aggression. India has become accustomed to spreading false propaganda against Pakistan.

The PPP leader said that it is surprising that India is blaming Pakistan without any investigation or evidence.

The Modi government promoted hatred in India and is now doing the same thing against Pakistan. Modi government should consider atrocities and barbarism committed by its government in occupied Kashmir.

Instead of blaming Pakistan wrongly, Modi govt should look at its security failure, Shazia said and added this month, Pakistan welcomed more than 6,700 Sikh pilgrims from India. This visit of Sikh pilgrims was the biggest cross-border religious journey in the last five decades.

We want to improve relations between the two neighbouring countries, but India’s intention is not clear, she said.

India’s haste to make allegations without investigation is clear evidence of false flag operation. India violated international law by scrapping Indus Waters Treaty, she further said.

She said that the Indus Waters Treaty cannot be suspended on the wishes of one party. Will fight case of violation of Indus Water Treaty and Indian water aggression at international forum. Such agreements are not suspended even in war situations.

She said that the international community should take notice of India’s unilateral occupation of river water, construction of dams, and violation of Indus Water Treaty.

India’s actions pose a serious threat to Pakistan’s water security and national sovereignty.
