Security forces eliminate six terrorists in Bannu operation

On the night of April 23/24, 2025, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Bannu District in response to reports of Khwarij’s presence.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and after an intense fire exchange, six khwarij were sent to hell, while four khawrij got injured.

A sanitization effort is underway to destroy any more Kharji identified in the region, as Pakistan’s security forces are committed to eradicate the threat of terrorism from the country.

Previously, Six Khwarij were consigned to hell on April 20 and 21, 2025, in two different encounters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Province.

On reported presence of Khwarij, an intelligence based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in general area Razmak, North Waziristan District. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, resultantly, five khwarij were sent to hell.

In another intelligence based operation in South Waziristan District, own troops effectively neutralized kharji ring leader Zabi Ullah @Zakran, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as in target killing of innocent civilians and was highly wanted by the Law Enforcement Agencies.

A sanitization effort is underway to exterminate any more Kharji identified in the region, as Pakistan’s security forces are committed to eradicate the threat of terrorism from the country.
