Indian aircraft carrier INS Vikrant turns back

In a dramatic turn of events, the Pakistan Navy’s anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) strategy successfully repelled the Indian aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, which made an unexpected return to its homeport of Karwar, India, following a series of military maneuvers.

Recent satellite imagery revealed the swift arrival of the carrier at the port, sparking significant regional tensions and highlighting the ongoing naval power rivalry in the Indian Ocean.

According to the Indian Navy, INS Vikrant was deployed to the Arabian Sea in view of the recent tensions between Pakistan and India.INS Vikrant unexpectedly returned to Karwar Naval Base on April 25The Indian government deployed INS Vikrant on April 23 near Pakistani territorial waters in the North Arabian Sea.
