Security forces thwart border infiltration, Kill 54 Khawarij

27 April, 2025 18:09

Security forces foiled a major infiltration attempt on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, killing 54 Khawarij.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on the night between April 25 and 26 and then on the night of April 26 and 27, security forces in the Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan timely noted the movement of a large group of Khawarij who were trying to enter Pakistan.

Security forces took timely action and effectively thwarted the Khawarij infiltration. A large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered during the operation.

However, the intelligence reports revealed that these Khawarij were infiltrating Pakistan at the behest of their ‘foreign masters’ to carry out large-scale terrorist crackdowns.

The ISPR added that at a time when India is making baseless allegations against Pakistan, these activities of the Khawarij make it clear whose cue they are acting on.

Furthermore, this is the largest number of Khawarij killed in a single operation in the ongoing campaign against terrorism.

On the other hand, in a dramatic turn of events, the Pakistan Navy’s anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) strategy successfully repelled the Indian aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, which made an unexpected return to its homeport of Karwar, India, following a series of military maneuvers.

Recent satellite imagery revealed the swift arrival of the carrier at the port, sparking significant regional tensions and highlighting the ongoing naval power rivalry in the Indian Ocean.

According to the Indian Navy, INS Vikrant was deployed to the Arabian Sea in view of the recent tensions between Pakistan and India.INS Vikrant unexpectedly returned to Karwar Naval Base on April 25The Indian government deployed INS Vikrant on April 23 near Pakistani territorial waters in the North Arabian Sea.

Due to the presence and continuous patrolling of the Pakistan Navy at sea, the Indian Navy decided to recall the aircraft carrier.

However, according to the latest satellite intelligence (IMINT) images taken on April 26, 2025, INS Vikrant has re-anchored at Karwar port.

Moreover, satellite images from April 23, INS Vikrant was heading towards the open waters of the Arabian Sea.Indian media and social media were in a frenzy over the deployment of INS Vikrant.

If the Pakistan Navy’s “carrier killer” missile systems are activated at sea, retreat is the only safe option.
