ICJ hearing postponed, attorney general comments on India

Attorney general comments on ICJ hearing
Islamabad: The Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) has said that everyone’s attention is on what India has done and that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) was scheduled to be held today, but it was canceled.
In a case related to the trial of civilians in military courts, the Attorney General stated that the issue of granting the right to appeal to those facing military trials is a policy matter and he can place the submissions before the court only after receiving instructions on this.
On this, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, a member of the constitutional bench, said that whatever Parliament has to do is its policy matter, we only have to look at the extent of this case.
Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar asked how much time would be required for the arguments. The Attorney General said he would complete the arguments in 45 minutes.
However, the court later adjourned the further hearing of the case until May 5.
