NADRA announces new fee structure for ID cards, B-Forms – April 2025

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced new fees for Smart National Identity Cards (Smart CNIC) and Child Registration Certificates (B-Form). These changes will apply starting April 2025.

For Smart CNIC services, the normal processing fee is Rs 750. Urgent processing costs Rs 1,500, and executive processing (fastest option) is Rs 2,500. For the B-Form, which is a child’s first identity document, the normal fee is Rs 50. The executive service for the B-Form is Rs 500.

The government now requires all newborns to have a B-Form. This document is the first step in creating a child’s official identity record.

NADRA has also improved its systems to make applying easier. Citizens can visit any NADRA office or apply online. The authority reminds everyone to renew their ID cards on time. Proper identification helps people access government services smoothly.

Recently, NADRA shared new rules for applicants. People must bring original documents to NADRA offices. Photocopies are not needed for B-Forms or registration certificates. Additionally, using another person’s ID card as a guarantee is not allowed.
