Security forces kill 17 khawarij in North Waziristan operation

Following the successful engagements by the security forces in North Waziristan District from 25-27 April 2025, during which 54 khawarij were sent to hell, on the night between April 27-28, a deliberate sanitization operation was conducted in surrounding areas of Hassan Khel along Pakistan-Afghanistan Border.

During the operation, 17 more khawarij, who were operating on behest of their foreign masters, were hunted down and successfully neutralized. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed khawarij.

The number of khawarij killed in three days during the anti-inflation operation has risen to 71.

The security forces remained committed to secure the nation’s frontiers and thwart attempts to sabotage peace, stability and progress of Pakistan.
