India may launch military offensive in next 24-36 hours, warns Atta Tarar
Tarar Extends Eidul Fitr Greetings to Muslim Ummah
Information Minister Atta Tarar has said that Pakistan has received credible intelligence inputs that India is planning any military action against Pakistan in the next 24 to 36 hours to ‘justify’ the recent Pahalgam incident.
He said that these allegations are baseless and fabricated, which Pakistan completely rejects.
“Pakistan strongly rejects India’s attitude of projecting itself as a judge, jury and executioner in the region. Pakistan itself has been a victim of terrorism for the last two decades and strongly condemns terrorism in any part of the world, in any form.
The information minister said that in the wake of the Pahalgam incident, Pakistan, being a responsible state, offered a thorough, transparent and impartial investigation so that the facts could come out and determine the exact nature of the incidents.
However, India’s rejection of the offer and adopting a path of irrationality and confrontation can be dangerous for peace not only in the region but for the whole world.
“India’s reluctance to conduct an independent investigation exposes its real intentions, aimed at inciting public sentiments and creating an atmosphere of confrontation for political gains, which is a very sad trend,” he said.
“Pakistan once again makes it clear that if India attempts any kind of military misadventure, it will be given a befitting and decisive response,” Tarar said.
