Karachi’s Northern Bypass Cattle Market Now Open for Eid ul-Adha 2025

Karachi’s Northern Bypass Mandi, also called Maweshi Dost Mandi, has turned into a busy hotspot for Eid ul-Adha 2025 preparations since it opened on April 19. Thousands of animals — cows, bulls, goats, calves, and camels — have arrived, attracting large crowds, especially during the May 1 public holiday.

Animals have come in from all over Pakistan, including Rajanpur, Ahmedpur Sharqia, Naushahro Feroze, Kandiaro, Halani, and various farmhouses in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Karachi.

To make things easier for visitors, the market has Smart Monitoring Devices (SMDs) set up from the entrance to the admin area. VIP goat blocks are also available starting May 2 for buyers looking for premium animals.

With good parking, tight security, and medical facilities, this is Asia’s biggest cattle market and a one-stop place for all your Qurbani needs. Whether you’re there to buy an animal or enjoy the Eid spirit, the Northern Bypass Mandi is worth visiting!
