Australia skilled work visa protector fee in Pakistan - May 2025
Australia has become a new and attractive option for skilled Pakistani workers, offering jobs in many fields and even a chance to become a citizen.
But before going to Australia for work, Pakistanis must complete a legal process called “Protector of Emigrants” (PE) approval.
Why You Need a Protector Stamp
If you have a valid Australian work visa, you must get your job agreement approved and your passport stamped by the Protectorate of Emigrants (PE) office in Pakistan. This gives you several benefits:
-
Full legal protection in Australia
-
Help from Pakistan’s embassy if you face any problems at work
-
Support from the Community Welfare Attaché if your employer breaks the contract
-
Help for your family back home in case of issues
Steps to Get Protector Approval
Step 1 – Prepare Documents
You’ll need:
-
Online registration form (for direct hires)
-
Valid visa and passport
-
CNIC copy
-
Signed job agreement or employer letter
-
Fee payment receipts (registration, welfare, and insurance)
-

-

Step 2 – Get the Protector Sticker
After your documents are checked, you’ll attend an orientation. Your passport gets a special sticker, and your case is forwarded to the PE officer.

The PE officer signs and seals your passport, completing the process.
