Tarar warns India: Pakistan will go to any extent to defend its sovereignty

05 May, 2025 14:22

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, said that Pakistan has once again shown the world it stands for peace in the region, but made it clear that any aggression from India will be met with a strong response.

To show the truth, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting arranged a visit to the Line of Control (LoC) for both local and international journalists. This visit aimed to disprove India’s false claims about so-called “terrorist camps” in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Media teams were taken to the exact locations India had claimed were terrorist hideouts. There, they saw the real situation, spoke with locals, and found that these areas were just ordinary civilian places.

While talking to the media, Attaullah Tarar said, “India had repeatedly made baseless allegations against Pakistan. Today we have put all the facts before the international and domestic media.” He emphasized that these places were not camps but peaceful communities.

He also said, “Pakistan is a responsible state that not only committed to regional and even global peace.” He added that Pakistan always rejects terrorism anywhere in the world, and has proven through its actions that it wants peace, but will fully defend its sovereignty if threatened.

Tarar further said that India should first focus on its human rights violations in occupied Kashmir before blaming Pakistan. He added that India spreads false stories about the LoC to cover up its own failures, but now the international media has seen the reality for themselves.
