Murree Road Repair Work: New Traffic Plan Announced to Ease Congestion

Due to ongoing road repairs in Murree, traffic authorities have introduced a new traffic management plan to reduce congestion and ensure smooth travel.

The Murree Traffic Police have advised travelers to use the Murree Expressway instead of the usual route. The road from Satra Meel Toll Plaza to Bansara Gali is completely closed for all vehicles.

A spokesperson for the traffic police said that the Highway Department is repairing and recarpeting the road between Chhatar and Salgran. To speed up the work and ensure safety, the section from Satra Meel to Bansara Gali has been shut down.

Drivers coming from Islamabad and Rawalpindi must take the Expressway to reach Murree. Officials say the closure is necessary for public safety and faster completion of repairs.

Travelers are advised to plan their trips in advance to avoid delays.
