Young Son of Pakistani Army Officer Irtiza Abbas Turi Martyred in Indian Airstrikes on May 7, 2025

In a deeply heartbreaking tragedy, Irtiza Abbas Turi, the young son of Colonel Zaheer Abbas Turi, was martyred during the recent Indian military attacks on May 7, 2025.

The innocent child, aged around 7 to 8 years, lost his life amid airstrikes carried out under “Operation Sindoor,” launched by the Indian Armed Forces.

Irtiza was from Parachinar, a town known for its sacrifices and patriotism. He became one of the many civilian victims in the conflict between India and Pakistan. The military operation reportedly targeted areas in Pakistan-administered Kashmir and parts of Punjab, claiming several lives and leaving many others injured.

The funeral of Irtiza Abbas Turi Shaheed was held the same day at 5:00 PM in the H-9 graveyard in Islamabad. Mourners from across the city and beyond gathered to bid farewell to the young martyr. Social media was flooded with emotional tributes, calling Irtiza a “brave heart” and a symbol of innocent lives lost in war.

His father, Colonel Zaheer Abbas Turi, is a respected figure in the Pakistan Army, further adding to the emotional weight of this tragedy. Messages of support and condolences poured in for the grieving family.
