Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif confirmed that Pakistan has destroyed 12 drones sent by India.

Addressing a media briefing today, DG ISPR stated that on the night of May 7 and 8, India once again attempted aggression against Pakistan.

DG ISPR revealed that India attempted infiltration using drones in various cities of Pakistan.

According to DG ISPR, the armed forces of Pakistan are fully alert and responded promptly to the threat. A total of 12 drones sent by India were destroyed.

DG ISPR revealed that India sent the drones near Chakwal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Attock, and Karachi. Indian drones were also destroyed in Sheikhupura, Ghotki, Rawalpindi, and Chhor.

DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif briefed that one drone sent by India reached near military installations in Lahore. One civilian was martyred, and four soldiers were injured in the drone attacks.

Terming the drone incursion as an “act of open aggression,” DG ISPR stated that India suffered irreparable losses along the Line of Control (LoC), including the loss of five aircraft. He said that India faced humiliation due to these losses.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson emphasized that the country is fully determined and capable of teaching India a lesson, and accused India of endangering peace in the region and across the world.
