08 May, 2025 16:22

ISLAMABAD: As the situation gets tense after India’s drone attacks on Pakistan last night, the officials have shared several guidelines to survive a drone attack, especially in conflict zones.

The Harop is a dangerous drone made by Israel. It acts like both a drone and a missile. It can fly for hours before crashing into its target. India bought these drones in 2009 for $100 million.

How to Survive a Drone Attack

Officials shared these safety tips:

  1. Listen for Buzzing Sounds

    • Drones make a loud humming noise. If you hear it, take cover immediately.

  2. Stay Informed

    • Follow trusted news sources for attack warnings.

  3. Avoid High-Risk Areas

    • Stay away from military bases, government buildings, or places with armed forces.

  4. Hide in Safe Places

    • Go indoors, preferably in basements or concrete shelters. Avoid rooftops and open areas.

  5. Change Your Routine

    • Drones track movement patterns. Change your travel routes and times often.

  6. Reduce Phone Use

    • Drones can detect phone signals. Turn off GPS and limit mobile use.

  7. Evacuate If Possible

    • If your area is under frequent attacks, move to a safer location temporarily.

Pakistan’s Strong Defense

The military remains on high alert. Officials warned India that further attacks will get a strong response.

Global Concern

World leaders are urging both countries to avoid more violence. The situation remains tense.
