Air travel in Pakistan has been badly affected as many flights are being delayed or cancelled because of rising tensions with India. Both local and international passengers are facing uncertainty.
Recently, flight operations have been stopped at major airports, including Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, and Sialkot. The situation is tense, and authorities are taking extra precautions.
According to reports:

Islamabad Airport is closed due to operational reasons.

Lahore and Sialkot Airports will stay closed until 12pm.

Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport has also suspended flights, causing trouble for many passengers.

Drone Shot Down Near Lahore
The decision to suspend flights in Lahore came after a drone was shot down near Walton area of the city. People nearby heard three loud blasts, but thankfully, no one was hurt and no property was damaged.
Security forces acted quickly and prevented what could have been a serious incident. However, no official statement has been released yet.
In another case, an Indian drone was also shot down in Chakwal. No injuries or damage were reported there either.
