India Sponsoring Terrorism in Pakistan and Canada, DG ISPR

DG ISPR briefs international media on Pakistan-Indian tensions
Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry said that India is sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan and Canada, revealing a deep network of state-backed terror activities.
Speaking at a high-level press conference alongside senior officials from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Navy (PN), Lt Gen Chaudhry pointed that India has a longstanding strategy of using terrorism as a political tool, particularly targeting innocent civilians and blaming Pakistan to serve its own interests.
The DG ISPR referenced several incidents, including the killing of Sikhs during former U.S. President Bill Clinton’s visit to India, to highlight what he called India’s “manipulative false flag operations.”
He further said that India supporting banned terror groups like the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) — also referred to as Fitna al-Khawarij — by funding, training, and harboring their members. One of the key individuals named was Aslam Achhu, described as an Indian-sponsored terrorist allegedly operating from within India while coordinating attacks in Pakistan.
Addressing the recent Pahalgam incident, Lt Gen Chaudhry questioned how India managed to file a First Information Report (FIR) blaming Pakistan just 10 minutes after the attack, despite the site being 30 minutes away from the nearest police station.
The DG ISPR said that under the cover of the Pahalgam attack, India intensified its repression of Kashmiri Muslims, accusing them of terrorism, conducting raids, and carrying out extrajudicial killings.
He also stated that Pakistan has offered an impartial international investigation into the Pahalgam incident to expose the truth. However, he emphasized that India has consistently rejected such initiatives while failing to address questions raised by its own public and the global community.
The press conference has sparked widespread discussion, with calls for international scrutiny into India’s alleged cross-border operations and state-backed violence.
