Combat-Ready: Pakistan Navy Deploys Warships Amid Rising Tensions

10 May, 2025 09:47

As tensions continue to mount between Pakistan and India, the Pakistan Navy has deployed its combat ships to strategic locations in response to perceived threats. “Sensing the enemy’s nefarious intentions, the Pakistan Navy deployed its combat ships to specific locations in the waters,” a Navy spokesperson confirmed, adding that “the Pakistan Navy is fully prepared to counter any enemy misadventure.”

The deployment comes amid reports of Indian naval movements in the Arabian Sea. According to Pakistan Navy officials, Indian aircraft carriers and other ships are being closely monitored, but their deployment “will not have any significant impact.” The Navy spokesperson further asserted, “Indian naval assets would present an attractive target for Pakistan.”

In response to an article by the British newspaper The Telegraph, which claimed India had dispatched warships with supersonic cruise missiles towards Pakistan targeting the Karachi port, the Pakistan Navy rejected the report as misinformation. “This is a continuation of the failed Indian propaganda, which last night ridiculously claimed an attack on the Karachi port,” the spokesperson stated, adding that “the claimed missile range is also misleading.”

The Navy official emphasized that just like the Pakistan Air Force, the Navy is ready to counter any offensive. “If the Indian Navy casts an evil eye toward Pakistan, it will be drowned in the Arabian Sea,” the spokesperson warned.

Security sources also dismissed reports of Indian warships being in close proximity to Pakistani shores, confirming that “no Indian Navy ship is currently close enough to target Pakistan, and all cities and shipping lanes are safe.”
