PM youth laptop scheme 2025 – Last date to apply is May 20

The last date to apply for the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme (Phase-IV) is May 20, and students across Pakistan are applying in huge numbers.

This scheme aims to distribute 100,000 free laptops to talented students studying in public universities. The goal is to support education, improve digital access, and help students grow in their academic and professional lives.

Who Can Apply?

To apply, students must:

• Be currently enrolled in a public university

• Be studying for a PhD, MPhil/MS, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree

• Have at least 2.80 CGPA or 60% marks

• 1st-year Bachelor students must upload their HSSC (intermediate) results

• New MS/PhD students must upload their previous degree results

Note: Students who have already graduated are not eligible.

Special Quotas

• 18% of laptops are reserved for students from Balochistan

• 5% are for distance learning students (Virtual University & AIOU)

• Visit: www.pmyp.gov.pk

Once applications close:

1. A provisional merit list will be published

2. Students will get 15 days to raise objections or make corrections

3. A final merit list will be shared afterward

Laptops will be given strictly on merit within each program and department.
