11 Pakistani Soldiers, 40 Civilians Embrace Martyrdom in Defence of Motherland Amid Indian Attacks
On 7 May 2025, the Indian Armed Forces carried out unprovoked and reprehensible attacks during the night of 6-7 May 2025, deliberately targeting innocent civilians, including women, children, and the elderly.
According to an official press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the brutal strikes resulted in the martyrdom of 40 civilians—among them 7 women and 15 children—while 121 others were injured, including 10 women and 27 children.
In response to this unprovoked aggression, the Pakistan Armed Forces launched a firm and proportionate retaliatory operation under the banner of Marka-e-Haq. As part of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, precision strikes were conducted in defense of national sovereignty.
While defending the nation with exemplary courage, 11 personnel of the Pakistan Armed Forces were martyred, and 78 sustained injuries.

ISPR stated that the sacrifices of these martyrs are a lasting symbol of courage, dedication, and unwavering patriotism. Their legacy will remain forever honored in the memory of the nation.
The Pakistan Armed Forces, in solidarity with the people of Pakistan, paid solemn tribute to all martyrs and offered prayers for the swift recovery of those injured.
The statement concluded with a firm warning: any future attempt to challenge Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity will be met with a swift, full-spectrum, and decisive response—Inshallah.
