Flash Mob Held in Pakistan to Salute PAF, Thank Allied Nations for Support Against India
JHANG: The Muslim Institute, a prominent think tank, organized a flash mob in Jhang to pay tribute to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its courageous defense during the recent military standoff with India. The event also aimed to thank allied nations—Azerbaijan, China, Turkiye, the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia—for their strong support during the crisis.
Hundreds took part in the flash mob in Pakistan, which featured a large model of a fighter jet representing the PAF’s J-10C aircraft, credited with shooting down Indian Rafale jets. Banners displaying messages like “Thank you Azerbaijan, China, Turkey, UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia” were prominently shown throughout the event.
The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Islamabad acknowledged the gesture, posting photos of the flash mob on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Attendees expressed their support for Pakistan and its armed forces through chants and slogans.
It is notable that China, Turkiye, and Azerbaijan were vocal in backing Pakistan after India’s missile strikes, which resulted in civilian casualties.
Meanwhile, Gulf nations including Saudi Arabia, Iran, the UAE, and Qatar played a key role in easing tensions and reiterated their diplomatic and moral support for Pakistan.
During the conflict, India was widely criticized on the international stage, suffering setbacks both militarily and diplomatically. No major country publicly backed India, apart from Israel, which issued a statement of support without taking any concrete action.
Russia remained neutral, while the United States stepped in to facilitate a ceasefire, offering trade-related incentives to both countries without endorsing India’s military approach.
