Sindh CM Announces Financial Aid for Martyrs’ Families

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced financial compensation for the families of martyrs and the injured following the recent Indian attacks, which he termed a deliberate and coordinated assault.

Speaking at an event in Karachi, Shah declared, “Rs. 10 million (one crore) each will be given to every martyr’s family, and Rs. 1 million (ten lakh) to every injured person.”

Shah described the incident at Pahalgam as a “well-orchestrated conspiracy” and squarely blamed India for initiating the deadly surprise night attack. “The whole nation was united as a steel wall against Indian aggression,” he added, expressing national solidarity in the face of crisis.

Taking a direct jab at India’s military capabilities, Shah said, “India might have bought Rafale fighter jets, but they don’t possess the qualified pilots to fly them.”

He praised Pakistan’s military preparedness, stating, “Our armed forces have shown unquestionable preparedness to protect the country. Anyone who dares to cast an aggressive glance in the direction of Pakistan will encounter a strong reaction.”

On the longstanding water dispute, Shah reiterated Pakistan’s firm stance against India’s unilateral actions. Quoting PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he warned, “Either the waters of the Indus River will continue to flow, or it will be Modi’s blood.”

His statements come amidst heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following the deadly cross-border incident.
