India shared no proof against Pakistan: UK Foreign Secretary

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, who is visiting Pakistan, says that India has not shown any evidence for the allegations made against Pakistan.
He said that he did not expect India to share its national security issues with him.
David Lammy said that the terrorist attack in Pahalgam was horrific, Britain condemns all forms of terrorism, and we sympathize with the victims.
He said that Pakistan has also been a victim of terrorism; we have to ensure that extremism does not flourish.
The British Foreign Secretary said that the leadership of Pakistan and India played an influential role in the ceasefire and that they are working with international partners to maintain the ceasefire.
He said that he is the first British Foreign Secretary to visit Pakistan in 4 years and will discuss promoting bilateral relations, culture, and trade with Pakistan.
David Lammy said that tensions between Pakistan and India have a direct impact on people from both countries living in the UK.
He said that the British Pakistani community had so many concerns that the Pakistan High Commission had received more than 2,000 calls.
David Lammy also met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar during his visit.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar welcomed the British Foreign Secretary on his first visit to Pakistan.
