On the national day of Youm-e-Tashakur, Pakistanโ€™s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with Army Chief General Asim Munir, visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi to meet troops and civilians injured during the recent military clashes known as Maarka-e-Haq.

The visit came after the successful completion of Operation Bunyan un Marsoos, launched in response to Indian aggression that resulted in the deaths of 13 Pakistani soldiers and 40 civilians. Over 70 others were injured in the cross-border conflict.

During the hospital visit, PM Shehbaz praised the bravery and determination of the Pakistani armed forces. โ€œThis war, fought by our forces and the nation together, is unmatched in our history,โ€ he said.

The government says the sacrifices made during the operation will be remembered as a symbol of Pakistanโ€™s unity and strength in the face of external threats. The visit was aimed at boosting morale and showing support for the injured and their families.

Across Pakistan, Youm-e-Tashakur is being observed to honor the courage of those who defended the country during the operation, reflecting a strong national spirit and commitment to sovereignty.
