Sindh Governor calls for amnesty for PTI workers

16 May, 2025 17:40

The Sindh Governor Kamran has demanded a general amnesty for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers involved in the May 9 incident. He says that those who were innocent victims on the occasion of joy should be forgiven.

Tesori visited the Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum on the occasion of Pakistan’s victory in the war against India on Thanksgiving Day and offered Fateha. Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly Ali Khorshidi and others also accompanied him. They placed flowers at the Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum and recorded their impressions in the guest book.

Talking to the media, he said that all political parties, including PTI, gave the same answer to India: we are all one nation in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which was formed on the name of the word. The spirit of the entire nation was united with the Pakistani army. The Pakistani army gave the answer that the enemies’ teeth were broken. I salute the martyrs. Today the Pakistani nation stands tall with pride.  The Sindh Governor says that instead of investigating by blaming Pakistan, they tried to attack.

We are not against the Indian nation; we are against extremist Hindu Modi. Modi martyred mosques, but we did not damage temples. Our government and army did not abandon patience or peace. We are peace-loving people; we have proven this. Tesori said that even after the ceasefire, a bakery in the name of Karachi was burned in Hyderabad Deccan. There are shops in the name of India in Karachi too, but we did nothing against them.

We are a peace-loving nation; the Pakistani nation has proven this with our actions. Today, the entire Pakistani nation is proud of the Pakistani Armed Forces.  The entire nation is celebrating victory today.

We always come to the Quaid’s shrine and pray that the country’s problems are resolved. Today, we have gathered at the Quaid’s shrine to express our gratitude. I felt proud to be present at the shrine today.

He said that PTI has disgraced the country and the nation in the world; some people from PTI are victims of an external conspiracy, and some joined it; some came out of innocence and supported such people; the innocent people of May 9 should be released; I demand from the government to grant them a general amnesty.
