PM Youth Laptop Scheme 2025 new deadline announced

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has extended the deadline to apply for the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme 2025. Now, students can submit their applications until June 1, 2025 (the earlier deadline was May 20).

This scheme aims to support students by giving out 100,000 free laptops to deserving students studying in public universities across Pakistan. The goal is to help them stay digitally connected and enhance their learning experience.

Eligibility Criteria for PM Laptop Scheme 2025

• Must be studying at a public sector university recognized by HEC.

• Must be currently enrolled in PhD, MS/MPhil, Master’s, or Bachelor’s programs.

• Students must have a minimum CGPA of 2.80 or 60% marks.

• First-year students need to submit their intermediate (HSSC) marks.

• MS/PhD students in the first semester must provide results from their previous degree.

• Only currently enrolled students can apply. If you’ve already graduated, you are not eligible, even if you applied while you were a student.

Quota Details

• 18% of laptops are reserved for students from Balochistan.

• 5% are reserved for distance learning students (split equally between Virtual University and Allama Iqbal Open University).
