Food prices rise
Food prices rise despite a decline in the inflation rate, GTV News reported on Friday.
The Bureau of Statistics has released weekly inflation figures in order to public aware.
The Statistics Department revealed that the inflation rate slowed to a record 0.29% in recent weeks. However, annual inflation reaches 1.35%.
The Statistics Agency further claimed that prices of 13 items increased in the last week.
Furthermore, prices of 14 items decreased, and prices of 24 items remained stable.
