Islamabad: Pakistan has dismissed the allegations made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling them a serious breach of international law.
The Foreign Office of Pakistan labeled these remarks as unfounded, inflammatory, and deliberate attempts to heighten tensions in the region.
Emphasizing Pakistan’s role as a committed partner in global counter-terrorism efforts, the Foreign Office reiterated Islamabad’s stance.
The spokesperson accused India of targeting Pakistan to divert attention from the ongoing atrocities against Kashmiris. Pakistan has called on Indian leadership to demonstrate responsibility and exercise restraint to avoid escalating the situation further.
Highlighting the dangers of such provocative rhetoric, the Foreign Office spokesperson warned that these statements jeopardize regional peace. Pakistan remains dedicated to promoting peace, stability, and constructive dialogue in the region.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s strength, the spokesperson cautioned that the country’s desire for peace should not be misconstrued as weakness. Pakistan possesses full capability to safeguard its sovereignty, and any act of aggression will be met with a firm response.
