Registration fees for births and deaths
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has abolished birth and death registration fees that have been prevalent in the province for years.
On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, computerized birth and death certificates will also be issued free of charge. Citizens can register in the Union Council and Municipal Committee free of charge for 7 years.
Maryam Nawaz says that identity is the fundamental right of every citizen. We want to create convenience for citizens; digital birth and death certificates are necessary to obtain services. Citizens of Punjab can ensure the protection of their rights by registering births and deaths in a timely manner.
