Pakistan Condemns Modi’s 'Hate-Filled and Violent,' Remarks, Urges Global Attention
ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has strongly condemned recent remarks made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing them as “hate-filled and violent.”
On Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to Modi’s hateful speech in Gujrat , stating the comments “reflect a reckless and provocative mindset” and “defy diplomatic norms while violating the principles of the United Nations.”
The spokesperson emphasized Pakistan’s readiness to respond to any potential threat, stating, “Pakistan is fully capable of countering any aggression,” and underscored the nation’s resolve to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The statement accused the Indian leader of attempting to escalate regional tensions deliberately. “The purpose of Modi’s statement is to divert attention from India’s attempts at territorial changes and the grave human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” the spokesperson said.
Calling on the international community to take notice, Pakistan warned that “India’s incendiary rhetoric poses a threat to regional peace and stability.”
The spokesperson reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to peace, asserting that “Pakistan remains a leading partner in global peacekeeping under the United Nations and continues its active role in counter-terrorism efforts.”
Concluding the statement, the Foreign Office urged India to consider the internal challenges it faces. “Peace is only possible through mutual respect and adherence to international law,” the spokesperson said.
