Trilateral meeting vows to strengthen strategic cooperation

Addressing the Independence Day ceremony, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said, “I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on their Independence Day. The participation of friendly countries in the Independence Day ceremony is a source of pride for us.” In the trilateral meeting, the three leaders vowed to further strengthen strategic cooperation.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Turkish president, and the president of Azerbaijan attended the ceremony to mark Azerbaijan’s Independence Day. In addition, Field Marshal General Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also attended the ceremony. At the beginning of the ceremony, the national anthems of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan were played.

President Ilham Aliyev said that the heads of Turkey and Pakistan are participating in the ceremony. The cooperation between Turkey, Pakistan, and Azerbaijan will be further strengthened.”

He said that in the trilateral meeting, the three leaders resolved to further strengthen strategic cooperation. The cooperation between Turkey, Pakistan, and Azerbaijan will be further strengthened. The participation of the leaders of Turkey and Pakistan is a reflection of strong friendship.

They said that Armenia tried to occupy our territories and committed genocide against the local people. Thousands of people had to be displaced due to Armenia’s hegemonic ambitions. Azerbaijan gained independence 107 years ago and was occupied by the Soviet Union 7 years after independence.

The President of Azerbaijan said that the Independence Day ceremony is taking place in the region that was liberated, that the development process is ongoing in the areas liberated from Armenian occupation, and that in 2020 we defeated Armenia and liberated our regions.

Addressing the ceremony, the Turkish President said, “I am grateful for the warm welcome and hospitality. I would like to say, ‘Two states, one nation.’ I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on their independence.”

He said that Turkey, Pakistan and Azerbaijan are three best friends, Turkey, Pakistan and Azerbaijan are three countries and one nation, I consider Azerbaijan as my home country.

However, we will continue to work to strengthen our friendship, Azerbaijan became stronger with the independence of Karabakh, Turkey stands with Azerbaijan in good and bad times.

The Prime Minister said that India falsely accused Pakistan of the Pahalgam incident, while Pakistan demanded an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam incident, India targeted Pakistan’s civilian population in the dark of night, attacked Pakistan in which innocent children and women were martyred, Pakistan targeted only Indian military installations in broad daylight, after Pakistan’s effective retaliation, India requested a ceasefire, Pakistan is a peace-loving country, so we accepted the ceasefire request.

Shahbaz Sharif said that he is grateful for the support of Turkey and Azerbaijan in the Pakistan-India tension, we are grateful for the support of Turkey and Azerbaijan for a just solution to the Kashmir issue. We want a solution to the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions. India has bathed the valley of occupied Kashmir with the blood of Kashmiris. The freedom fighters of Kashmir are fighting for their rights. The time is not far when Kashmiris will become free and throw off the shackles of slavery.

The Prime Minister said that when Armenia attacked Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Turkey stood by it. Today is Azerbaijan’s Independence Day and on this day, Pakistan became a nuclear power.

Today we are celebrating Azerbaijan’s Independence Day and Pakistan’s Day of Takbir together. On Independence Day, I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on behalf of Pakistan. What a beautiful coincidence that on May 28, Pakistan became the world’s first Muslim nuclear power.

He said that congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on the liberation of the occupied territories. Along with Turkey, Pakistan also provided moral diplomatic support to Azerbaijan in its war. Pakistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan will travel the journey of progress and prosperity together.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that we three countries demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Thousands of Palestinian children and women were martyred in Gaza. The world recognizes Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan for raising his voice for the oppressed Palestinians.
