Indian-backed terror plan exposed in Azad Kashmir
The Inspector General (IG) of Azad Kashmir Police shared new proof of Indian-backed terrorism in the region. On April 17, 2025, Azad Kashmir Police presented evidence that a terrorist named Dr. Abdul Rauf is currently hiding in Afghanistan.
According to the IG, Dr. Abdul Rauf is brainwashing Kashmiri youth in the name of “jihad” and using them to spread terrorism. He is not working alone. Another man named Ghazi Shehzad, who is linked with the group TTRJ, is helping him.
The IG said both Abdul Rauf and Ghazi Shehzad are promoting violence using religious names like “Shariah” and “jihad.” Their targets include government officials, public gatherings, offices, and important defense sites in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
There is also evidence that Kashmiri youth are getting training in Afghanistan and then working with Indian agencies to carry out attacks.
The IG shared details of a past attack. On October 27, 2024, Constable Sajjad was killed at a police check post. Terrorists involved were Zarnoosh Naseem, Usama Aslam, and Ulfat Ali. These men were connected to a group called Fitna al-Khawarij and were acting on orders from Dr. Abdul Rauf and Ghazi Shehzad.
This group is planning more attacks in Azad Kashmir, but due to strong security, terrorists like Zarnoosh, Ulfat Ali, and Jabran failed to hit their targets.
Recently, on May 28, 2025, police received information that Zarnoosh Naseem and his group were hiding in Hussain Kot. The police quickly launched an operation. Instead of surrendering, the terrorists opened fire using automatic weapons.
In the shootout, all four terrorists were killed, but two policemen were martyred and five were seriously injured.
The IG praised this successful operation, calling it a sign of the police’s professionalism, coordination, and courage. He said the action helped save lives and maintain peace in the region.
