No rigging in PP-52 Sialkot: ECP refutes Pervez claims

The Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab has rejected the allegations of rigging made by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Raja Pervez Ashraf in the PP-52 Sialkot by-election as baseless.

The provincial election commissioner has said that PPP leader Raja Pervez Ashraf should file a complaint with the Election Commission with solid evidence to prove his allegations.

The Provincial Election Commissioner clarified that the Election Commission is committed to promptly resolving all complaints.

He said that the District Monitoring Officer can be contacted with solid evidence against any complaint.

The District Monitoring Officer termed the reports of the administration closing various polling stations as “complete lies” and said that polling continued peacefully at all 185 polling stations in PP-52 Sialkot.
