Earthquake Tremors Felt Again in Various Areas of Karachi

Karachi: The earthquake tremors again jolted surrounding areas of Karachi for the fourth consecutive time.

Tremors were felt in Landhi, Malir, Hospital Chaurangi, Mal Area, Sherpao Colony, Port Qasim, and surrounding areas, according to details.

Due to the earthquake, workers were evacuated from various factories.

The Earthquake Monitoring Center reported that the earthquake’s magnitude was recorded at 3.2 with a depth of 10 kilometers, and the epicenter was near Quaidabad.

Severe Earthquake Tremors Felt Three Times at Night

Severe earthquake tremors were felt three times during the night in different areas of Karachi, causing panic and fear throughout the city.

The tremors were so strong that residents came out of their homes and engaged in prayers, reciting “Allah Akbar,” “Toba” (repentance), and “Istighfar” (seeking forgiveness).

The first tremor was felt around 1:12 AM, followed by two more strong tremors between 1:30 AM and 1:40 AM in various parts of the city.

The tremors were especially felt in Quaidabad, Malir, Landhi, Shah Faisal Town, Korangi, Majid Colony, Sherpao, and other adjacent areas.

The earthquake’s magnitude was recorded as 3.2 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 12 kilometers, and the epicenter was near Gadap Town in Karachi.

Azan (call to prayer) was given from mosques in various areas, and a large number of residents came out of their homes.
