WASA Lahore Announces Water Supply Schedule for Eidul Adha 2025

The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Lahore has released a special water supply schedule to ensure smooth service during Eidul Adha 2025, which will be celebrated in Pakistan from June 7 to June 9.

According to an official notification, tubewells across Lahore will operate in three time slots each day of Eid to ensure citizens receive enough water for household use and sacrificial needs.

Water Timings During Eid Days

Day 1 – June 7 (Saturday)

• Morning: 4:00 am – 12:00 pm

• Afternoon: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

• Evening: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Day 2 – June 8 (Sunday)

• Morning: 4:00 am – 10:30 am

• Afternoon: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

• Evening: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

The schedule for the third day of Eid (June 9) is expected to follow a similar pattern and will be updated as needed by the agency.

Emergency Teams & Repairs

WASA’s Managing Director said that all officers have been directed to:

• Inspect Eidgahs and mosques to check water systems.

• Resolve water overflow complaints quickly.

• Keep field offices open and active during Eid days.

• Repair any faulty tubewells or machinery without delay.

Staff Working in 3 Shifts

To provide smooth service:

• All operational staff will work in three shifts, 24/7 during Eid.

• All employee leaves have been canceled to make sure no citizen faces water issues.

The Managing Director assured that WASA teams will stay alert and ready to respond to complaints immediately.
