Ehsaas 8171 Web Portal Latest Update for June 2025

05 June, 2025 11:59

The Government of Pakistan has introduced new updates to the Ehsaas Program 8171 Web Portal, a key component of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). These changes, implemented in June 2025, aim to provide faster and more secure services to eligible families seeking financial aid.

The portal now allows users to easily verify their status for cash assistance, check payment details, and access important updates. Among the “Key Features of the 8171 Web Portal” are an “Easy eligibility check,” “Track payment status,” “Update personal details,” and the option to “Apply for the BISP Kafalat program.”

To use the portal, applicants simply need to visit the website, input their “13-digit CNIC number,” solve a simple captcha, and click submit. The portal will then display their eligibility and current payment status.

In addition to the web portal, families can also check their details through SMS by “typing your CNIC and sending it to 8171,” or by visiting “a BISP office” with their CNIC. The Ehsaas mobile app is also available to provide updates on eligibility and payment.

Regarding the June 2025 Ehsaas Payment, the government has announced that “Rs. 13,500 per eligible household” will be distributed starting from “10th June 2025,” covering cities such as Multan, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Karachi, and Rawalpindi. Disbursements are taking place in phases.

Eligibility requirements include “household income under Rs. 50,000,” “valid CNIC,” and “no major assets or government employment.” A valid PMT (poverty) score is also necessary.

The article also addresses common issues beneficiaries may face. If users don’t receive a reply from 8171 SMS or their payments show pending, they are advised to wait and recheck. “Biometric issues at payment center” should be resolved by visiting NADRA. Those marked ineligible may need to “update your survey data at a BISP center.”

Citizens are also reminded about online safety. “Do not share your CNIC or personal information with unknown people” and note that “BISP and Ehsaas services are free of cost.”

FAQs in the update confirm that “you can apply for someone else in your family” as long as they meet the criteria. Payments are issued in phases and may take a few days. For those without internet, “you can use the SMS method or go directly to a BISP help center.” The “PMT score” remains essential as it helps determine financial need based on NSER survey data.

This overhaul of the Ehsaas portal is aimed at improving transparency and access to financial relief for Pakistan’s most vulnerable citizens.
