Field Marshal Asim Munir pays tribute to people and armed forces in Eid message
Pakistan’s top military leaders extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the people of Pakistan. In a joint message, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, along with the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, the Chief of Naval Staff, and the Chief of Air Staff, shared their warm wishes.
They prayed for peace, national unity, and the continued prosperity of Pakistan. The message recognized the strength and resilience of the people, especially in difficult times.
The leaders praised the bravery of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and all citizens who protect the country. They thanked the families of Shuhada-e-Pakistan, whose loved ones gave their lives for peace and the nation.
“Eid-ul-Adha is a sacred time to reflect, sacrifice, and stay united,” the military said in a statement from ISPR.
They hoped this Eid would bring harmony and unity to society. They said it is a time to remember the bond that makes Pakistan a strong and proud nation.
The military reaffirmed their pledge to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty and borders. They said they stand by the people with full resolve and loyalty.
“We are united with our people and will always defend the country’s honor and safety,” the statement added.
On this blessed day, they also remembered the martyrs of Pakistan and their families with deep respect.
The message ended with powerful words: “Pakistan Hameesha Zindabad” — Long live Pakistan.
