Passport fees update in Pakistan before Budget 2025-26

Pakistan 72-page passport fee updated for July 2025
The federal government is all set to present the budget for the fiscal year 2025–26 today, with a total outlay of over Rs17,600 billion.
While the budget is expected to introduce new taxes worth around Rs2,000 billion, there’s some relief for travelers — passport fees are not likely to increase.
According to officials, the passport fee was already revised last year, and no changes are expected in the upcoming financial year. The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, which handles passport issuance, has confirmed the existing fee structure remains in place.
A valid Pakistani passport is essential for international travel. It not only allows citizens to leave and enter Pakistan but also provides protection from Pakistani embassies and consulates abroad.
