Pakistan Secures FATF Confidence Despite Indian Propaganda

Despite India’s intense propaganda campaign, Pakistan has secured a major diplomatic win by retaining international confidence in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

India made several efforts to isolate Pakistan diplomatically, especially after facing defeat in Operation Baniyan Marsous. However, the global community rejected India’s narrative.

India’s main goal at the recent FATF meeting was to push Pakistan back into the grey list. However, the FATF decided not to add Pakistan to the grey list and continued monitoring based on the previous reporting framework. This is a clear failure of India’s efforts.

The FATF’s sub-body, the International Cooperation Review Group (ICRG), held a meeting today. China openly supported Pakistan, while Turkey backed China’s position. Japan also fully endorsed Pakistan’s progress, especially as co-chair of the Asia-Pacific Group (APG).

India, frustrated by its failure in Operation Baniyan Marsous, had hoped FATF would be a tool to pressure Pakistan. But member states were not swayed by Indian propaganda and supported Pakistan’s genuine diplomatic efforts.

Realistically, Pakistan has fulfilled all FATF requirements, making its presence on any list unjustified. The fact that Pakistan was not re-listed despite pressure from India and Israel is a major diplomatic success.

Since Operation Baniyan Marsous, Pakistan’s global diplomatic status has risen. Despite a joint campaign by Hindutva and Zionist lobbies, India failed to push Pakistan into the FATF grey list—a clear win for Pakistan.

India’s intelligence agency RAW has led an international disinformation campaign against Pakistan. It even set up a fake news lab in New Delhi to mislead the global community with false, fabricated content.

India has failed globally through lies and deceit, while Pakistan has gained trust by implementing transparent reforms and responsible international behavior. This moment reflects Pakistan’s diplomatic strength and India’s failed conspiracies.
