Punjab issues over 2.8 lakh driving licenses in two weeks – check fee structure

The Punjab government is working hard to make public services better, especially in the area of driving licenses. In just two weeks, more than 282,000 people across the province got help through the licensing system.

What Happened?

• Over 155,000 people received learning licenses

• Around 105,000 people got their regular licenses

• More than 20,000 people renewed their licenses

• Over 2,000 received international driving permits

• 41,000+ people used the online portal to apply from home

Officials reminded everyone that driving without a license is a crime and can lead to heavy fines or other legal trouble. So it’s better to get your license on time.

New Driving License Fee Structure (2025)

The Punjab Traffic Police has shared the latest fees for different vehicle types. These fees include the test fee, post-test fee, and courier charges.
