LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz formally launched the second phase of the innovative “Clinics on Wheels” healthcare initiative today during a ceremony held in Lahore.
According to the details, the “Clinics on Wheels” program is designed to deliver high-quality medical care directly to the homes of millions of citizens across the province, with a particular focus on underserved and remote areas.
Speaking at the event, Maryam Nawaz emphasized her administration’s commitment to improving the lives of the people of Punjab through every possible means.
She highlighted that the core objective is to provide free and equitable healthcare to all, regardless of their social or geographic background.
Maryam further stated that the mobile clinic vehicles are now outfitted with advanced features, including air conditioning and mobile operation theatres.
