DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Holds Special Session with Saylani IT Program Students

Karachi: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif held a special interactive session with students of the Saylani IT Program in Karachi, where he was given a warm and enthusiastic welcome.

During the session, students engaged the DG ISPR with questions on various topics, including Pakistan’s internal and external security situation.

Addressing the students, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif stated, “Success in Operation ‘Bunyad-ul-Marsous’ is a victory of peace. Pakistan has always prioritized peace over war.”

Highlighting the role of youth in modern warfare, the DG said, “You have played the role of the vanguard in the information war for Pakistan.”

He further emphasized the professionalism of the armed forces, saying, “Pakistan’s armed forces are organized and professional forces, fulfilling their duties effectively under the constitution and in accordance with state directives.”

Discussing Pakistan’s strategic role in the region, Lt. Gen. Sharif noted, “Pakistan will continue to play the role of a net regional stabilizer in the region.”

The students expressed their unwavering support for the armed forces, stating, “We are ready to make every sacrifice to protect our homeland, even if it means supporting the Pakistan Army on any front.” They added, “The Pakistan Armed Forces are our identity, and we—the people—are their real strength.”

The session concluded with the students appreciating the opportunity to engage with the DG ISPR. They thanked him and expressed a strong desire for more such interactions in the future.
