NADRA announces age change fees for Smart NICOP

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has set a clear fee structure for people who want to change their age on the Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (Smart NICOP) under the PAK ID system.

This service helps overseas Pakistanis correct their personal details but also discourages frequent changes to important identity information.

What is Smart NICOP?

The NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) is given to Pakistani citizens living abroad who have dual nationality with countries that have an agreement with Pakistan. With a Smart NICOP, holders can travel to Pakistan without a visa.

Age Change Fees for Smart NICOP

Here’s the official fee based on how much your age is changing:

• Change of 1 year or less → $5 USD

• Change of more than 1 year up to 2 years → $25 USD

• Change of more than 2 years up to 3 years → $40 USD

• Change of more than 3 years → $65 USD

• Second-time age change (any amount) → $125 USD flat

How to Apply

Overseas Pakistanis can use the PAK ID online system to apply for age correction and other personal updates. This makes it easy to apply from anywhere in the world.

However, NADRA advises people to enter correct information from the start to avoid extra fees later if corrections are needed.
