Women receiving quarterly financial aid through the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) must act quickly. According to the latest announcement from BISP, new verification cards have been issued and sent to local post offices. “If you don’t complete the verification process on time, your BISP payments may stop.”
BISP is a government initiative that supports low-income families—particularly women—by providing financial help every three months. Recently, the program flagged a large number of beneficiaries who have not yet completed the necessary verification.
To continue receiving payments, women must:
- Collect their verification card from the nearest post office.
- Fill in all required forms and verify personal details.
- Send the verified card back to the BISP office in Islamabad by June 30, 2025.
Failing to do this may result in temporary or permanent account suspension, cutting off vital support. BISP warns: “Your BISP account link may be blocked, and you could stop receiving your payments.”
Here’s what beneficiaries should do:
- Visit the local post office listed in BISP records.
- Bring your CNIC to collect the verification card.
- Follow all instructions carefully and ensure documents are completed properly.
- Send everything back to Islamabad before the deadline.
This reminder is particularly important for women who haven’t completed identity verification in recent months. BISP encourages families to spread the word, especially in areas with low internet access or limited official communication.
“Don’t wait until the last minute. A small action today can protect your future support.”
