NADRA Makes CNIC Renewal Easier: Check CNIC Renewal Charges

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a convenient new facility for citizens who either lost their chip-less CNICs or hold expired ones.

As per an official notice, individuals with outdated or misplaced chip-less CNICs can now apply for upgraded identity cards with enhanced features—at a reduced cost.

“According to a public notice, citizens whose chip-less CNICs have either expired or been misplaced can now apply for renewal for an ID card with additional features at a discounted fee.”

This new initiative not only improves security but also provides citizens with more advanced ID cards. NADRA is encouraging the public to avail this limited-time offer by visiting their nearest registration center as soon as possible.

Fee Structure for Upgraded CNICs

To make the process smoother, NADRA is offering three service tiers:

• Normal Service: Rs400 (15 working days)
• Urgent Service: Rs1,150 (12 working days)
• Executive Service: Rs2,150 (6 working days)

These options apply to all types of CNIC services, including renewals of expired cards, lost IDs, and updates to personal details.
