The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has officially launched the Punjab E-Bike Scheme 2025 as part of the Budget 2025-26. Under this initiative, a total of 27,000 bikes will be distributed, including 10,000 electric bikes and 17,000 petrol bikes. The scheme targets students enrolled in HEC-recognized colleges and universities in Punjab.

Installment plans have been made student-friendly:

  • Electric bike: Rs 5,000–7,000 per month
  • Petrol bike: Rs 3,000–5,000 per month
Additionally, the government will offer a Rs 20,000 subsidy on each e-bike. The scheme is interest-free and does not require a guarantor.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Valid CNIC or B-Form
  • Driving license or learner’s permit
  • Must be a full-time student
  • Preference will be given to rural, low-income, and female students

Special features of the e-bikes include GPS tracking, solar charging, anti-theft alarm, a free helmet, and free repair workshops for female students in Lahore and Faisalabad.

  • Fill out the form with personal and academic details
