Peshawar – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar, where he was given a detailed briefing on the current security situation in the region, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday.
During the visit, the Army Chief was also briefed on the ongoing counter-terrorism operations being conducted by the Pakistan Army.
Later, Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Bannu to meet and inquire about the health of injured soldiers.
The COAS paid rich tribute to the unwavering courage and dedication of Pakistan’s security forces in the fight against terrorism.
