Field Marshal Asim Munir Warns India, Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to Sovereignty

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir addressed the commissioning parade of the 123rd Midshipmen and 31st SSC Course at Pakistan Naval Academy, praising cadets’ performance and congratulating foreign trainees from friendly nations. He emphasized the evolving nature of maritime warfare and stressed the need for a strong and modern naval force.

Field Marshal Munir strongly warned India over its aggressive posture, stating that any attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty will face a strong response. He recalled India’s past provocations and Pakistan’s measured but effective replies. He said Pakistan remains a key regional stabilizer and will not compromise on its national security.

Quoting the Quran, he urged unity, resilience, and operational readiness among naval officers. “We are stronger and more determined than ever,” the Army Chief concluded.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has added that as Pakistan nears victory in its fight against terrorism, India is deliberately creating regional tensions. He emphasized that Pakistan will continue its anti-terrorism efforts until complete success is achieved.

Addressing the nation, he strongly reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people. “India calls it terrorism, but it is a legitimate freedom struggle recognized by international law,” he stated. He saluted the sacrifices of Kashmiris and said Pakistan will always support them politically, morally, and diplomatically.

Quoting the Quran (Surah Al Imran, 3:54), he reminded the world that lasting peace in South Asia is impossible without a fair resolution of the Kashmir issue.

He also criticized attempts to hinder Pakistan’s progress, stating, “Pakistan is on the path to a bright future, and no enemy can stop it.”
