Mild Earthquake Felt in Zhob

Earthquake tremors have been felt in the Zhob district and adjacent areas of Balochistan. 

According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake was recorded at a magnitude of 4.8 and had a depth of 20 kilometers.

According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was 40 kilometers southwest of Zhob.

There have been no reports of any casualties or property damage as a result of the earthquake.

Earlier, Tremors from a 5.5 magnitude earthquake were felt in Balochistan’s Musa Khel district and nearby regions, leading to damage to several houses and injuries to three individuals as some buildings collapsed.

Seismological Center said that the quake originated at a depth of 28 kilometers, with its epicenter located 56 kilometers northeast of Musa Khel. Local officials reported that damage assessments are currently underway, while the injured have been transported to a hospital for medical treatment

Meanwhile, Karachi has experienced a series of tremors since June 2, with a total of 57 earthquakes recorded. These minor quakes were felt in areas including Malir, Saudabad, Landhi, Port Qasim, Shah Latif, Bhains Colony, Sherpao, and Quaidabad.
