Karachi Issues Traffic Plan for Muharram Processions

Karachi: A plan to close roads has been issued for the convenience of citizens in view of the processions during Muharram-ul-Haram.

According to details, Karachi Traffic Police has issued a traffic plan in view of the processions during Muharram-ul-Haram.

The main procession of 8, 9, and 10 Muharram in Karachi will start from Nishtar Park and will proceed through designated routes and end at Hussainiya Iranian Imambargah.

Traffic police say that MA Jinnah Road will remain closed from Guru Mandir to the tower for security reasons.

Under the traffic plan, those coming from Nazimabad can go from Lasbela to Nishtar Road and go towards their destination from Garden, while those coming from Liaquatabad can go from Teen Hatti to the right towards Lasbela and Martin Road.

Those going from Hassan Square to PP Chowrangi can go to Kashmir Road from under the Jail Flyover, and those going from Hassan Square to PP Chowrangi can go to Teen Hatti and Nishtar Road from the Jail Flyover.
